Money.org – The official webpage of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), the largest collector led coin association in the world. The DNS is a member club of the ANA.

California State Numismatic Association: Official Website Homepage (calcoin.org) – California State Numismatic Association is a statewide coin association that focuses on collector education. This is a good place to look if you want to find out about other clubs in California and the greater Bay Area.

American Numismatic Society – A New York City based, scholarly focused national Numismatic society. Extra focus on numismatic research, anthropology, and ancient coins.

Newman Numismatic Portal – The estate of Eric P Newman created the Newman Numismatic Institute at Washington University, St. Louis. The NNI undertook the task of digitizing over 60,000 numismatic books, auction catalogues, and periodicals. It is the largest digital numismatic library currently in existence, and is available to everyone who wants to look at it. Searching the vast amount of information can be difficult, but the potential is endless.

CoinZip Coin Shows – The most commonly use web listing for coin shows in the United States.

PCGS Coinfacts – Originally independent and acquired by PCGS, coinfacts is one of the best online sources of information on US coins.

Numista – The most comprehensive database and catalog of coins of the world.

The United States Mint – Go here to purchase US Mint products direct from the US Government and get up-to-date information on their latest product offerings.

PCGS The Standard for the Rare Coin Industry – One of the top two coin authentication and grading companies, based out of Newport Beach, CA.

NGC- Numismatic Guaranty Corporation – One of the top two coin authentication and grading companies, based out of Sarasota, FL.

IGC-Independent Coin Graders – A reputable but second tier authentication and grading company.

ANACS – America’s oldest grading company started by the ANA. Very reputable but still valued below PCGS and NGC. The most economical option for error and variety attributions. Also used more widely for certification of medals and tokens.

CAC – Certified Acceptance Corporation – This is where the little green beans on coins come from. Send your coins here if you want a second opinion on your NGC or PCGS certified coin. Modern coins are not welcome!

Coin Archives – The most comprehensive auction database of coin sales around. This is what the big coin dealers and TPGs used. Expensive!

ACSearch – Less comprehensive than Coin Archives, but a lot more affordable.

Numisbids – Auction aggregator website for mostly US and European Auctions

Numismatic News – Coin news outlet.

Coin World – Coin news outlet.

VAMWorld – If you can’t get enough of Morgans and Peace dollars and want to start collecting them by variety.

Steve Crain’s Half Dimes – A comprehensive collection of Half Dime varieties.
